New Bathroom Design

Today I was in Mill Valley helping a new client with her bathroom. She has lived in her house for 28 years and has been wanting to redo her 1960's pink tile bathroom. She had wanted to remodel several times but her fear kept her from starting. She has a carrara marble vanity that is the inspiration for the new design.

Last week when I was tile shopping for another client, I picked up some 18 x 18 carrara marble samples from Tez Marble and Granite Expo in Oakland. She was thrilled with the piece from Granite Expo because it was such a close match to her Pottery Barn vanity.

After measuring the bathroom, I figured out the square footage she would need to do the floor, shower and wainscott. While I order the marble, her assignment is to check out the glass for the frameless shower enclosure. My personal favorite is Mueller Glass and Mirror in San Rafael, so she's stopping by there first.

My name is Patsy Brabant and I have been designing for various clients for 17 years. I would be happy to help you with your personal design issues. You can reach me at patsybrabant@comcast.net
